Religion is such a contentious issue but I can’t not speak about it.
Can someone please explain, to me, why religious wars exist? I just don’t get it.
If we believe in a God then we can accept that there is only one God, right? So if there’s one God then we can assume that He/She created everything, right? So if that is the case then did God not create Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, etc? I mean if you believe in your heart of hearts that you are right in whatever faith you follow then how could you ever justify killing another for believing in the wrong thing? If we are all His/Her creations then what’s there to fight about?
Religion shouldn’t be the thing that causes conflict between us. It’s one of the few things that we can all find common ground with. We all have one creator.
